We're excited to welcome members and friends to a year long celebration of 100 years working with the law and Long Beach. Founded in 1917 the Long Beach Bar Association has a proud history of action, service, and comeraderie which we hope to be able to share with you at some of our many events. February 3, 2017
Come join the Bar Association on its one hundredth birthday! We will celebrate the future of the Association as we swear in our new Board and Officers and remember our past as we announce the award for Lawyer of the Century.
Judges' Night
March 23, 2017
Our annual Judges' Night always provides an opportunity to meet and mingle with our local Bench Officers. In addition, this year we will be presenting the award for the 2016 Judge of the Year during the reception, as well as celebrating the long history of our Association and the Bench.
A Celebration of Service
April, 2017
Come for the education, stay for the celebration. We are partnering with The Nonprofit Partnership to offer MCLE on the ethics of nonprofit governance before a reception highlighting our members' ongoing work in the community.
Scholarship Dinner

For over 50 years the Long Beach Bar Association has worked to recognize and reward some of the best young minds in our community. This year's dinner continues that work, awarding scholarships to current high school seniors, while looking back at some of our notable past scholars. We invite you to help us work towards the future as we seek to raise funds for this worthy cause.

Barristers BBQ

Bring the whole family for a fun and relaxing time as the Barristers host a barbecue. Enjoy food and games as we celebrate our members in a less formal setting.
Gala

The culmination of our centennial year, our gala will bring our members together to celebrate the storied history and achievements of our Association and our members. We will be joined by special guests from our membership and the legal community for this momentous night.
