Recognized as the Long Beach Bar Association's Lawyer of the Year for 2015,

Bob is a local product having grown up in the Long Beach/Lakewood area. After graduating from Lakewood High School in 1962, he then attended the University of Arizona where he obtained a Bachelor of Science in Business in 1966 and his law degree in 1969. He began his practice of law in Long Beach in 1970, and except for a one-year break in 1972 when he obtained a Masters in tax law from New York University, he has continually practiced in Long Beach since that time. Bob immediately became active in the Log Beach Bar and served as President of both the Long Beach Barristers and the Estate and Trust Planning Counsel of Long Beach in 1975. He served as President of the Long Beach Bar in 1992. Bob has also served on a wide variety of charitable boards including the American Cancer Society, the United Way, the Paralysis Project, the Jewish Federation of Long Beach, the Temple Israel Foundation and the Long Beach Community Foundation.

Bob's law practice is limited to estate planning and estate and trust administration. A great joy in Bob's life is that his oldest son, Jon, has been his law partner for the past 17 years. Bob has been married to Jeannie for 48 years and they have two other wonderful children, Blake and Jennifer, as well as extra special daughters and son-in-laws and grandchildren. Outside of the practice of law and family, Bob particularly enjoys golf and travel.
